Are you passionate about supporting the tender phase of foundation installation projects? Do you want to work in the green offshore wind industry where your skills and expertise will help secure a sustainable future based on renewable energy? Then keep reading – Cadeler is looking for a Sales Planner with your skills and interests!
Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Sales Planner to help develop detailed, data-driven master schedules that serve as a key component in the technical and commercial offer.
What will you do?
As our new Sales Planner, you will be covering all phases of the offshore foundation installation scope. Furthermore, you will align schedules with commercial inputs, internal approval processes, and client-imposed milestones.
Your main tasks include:
- Prepare and maintain master tender schedules, covering all phases of the offshore foundation installation scope, including marine spread, vessel operations, feeder port activities, and critical commercial milestones.
- Perform weather downtime calculations using historical metocean data to inform realistic vessel programs, determine operational feasibility, and optimize tender strategies.
- Coordinate closely with the Tender Manager, to ensure that all relevant contractual or commercial milestones are properly addressed in the schedule.
- Translate operational inputs from the Technical Sales team into clear, logic-driven schedules that account for vessel availability, port logistics, mobilization/demobilization, and campaign strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Sales Managers, Engineers, and Tender managers to incorporate the latest strategies and relevant details into the planning models.
Liaise with FOU Projects to ensure that lessons learned from ongoing projects are integrated into the sales planning activities continuously.
To succeed in this role
Being part of the Cadeler community means you will have a natural interest and care for the environment and our shared mission to speed up the green energy transition. Your environmental considerations and the safety of our people and the planet will be a key priority in your daily work.
We are looking for a collaborator who thrives with stakeholder management and has a high attention to detail.
We believe you will be a strong match for this role if you bring the following qualifications and experience:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Offshore Construction, Marine Operations, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a planning or scheduling role, preferably in offshore wind, marine construction, or a related offshore industry.
- Experience developing tender-phase or early-stage project schedules, especially those influencing commercial decisions, is preferable.
- Advanced proficiency in Microstoft Project (required); Primavera P6 experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of weather modelling, metocean data, and operational limits in offshore conditions is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
